Pistolero is the son of Kahil Al Shaqab and grandson of Marwan Al Shaqab, one of the most valued sires in the world. Kahil Al Shaqab is the fourth son of Marwan used by Polish breeders (beside QR Marc, WH Kaneko MS and Abha Qatar).

Kahil Al Shaqab is a distant relative of BaskEukaliptus and Naganka. Due to the repeated presence of Bask and Gwalior in the pedigree of his dam, OFW Mishaahl, half of his bloodline is Polish.

On the dam side Pistolero descends from the most valuable dam line in Janów – Szamrajówka. His dam, Pinga, is a highly decorated mare as 2015 World Platinum Champion Mare, Polish National Champion Mare (both junior and senior), Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show Senior Reserve Champion Mare, European Champion Mare and World Champion Mare. She is definitely one of the most significant mares of Janów Podlaski of the last three decades. A daughter of Pilar, granddaughter of Pipi and great-granddaughter of the unforgettable Pilarka.

Pistolero is a young stallion of correct and harmonious build, beautiful neck, very good movement and representing the best traits of his family. He was very successful at shows as a yearling and a two year old. As a three year old he started racing training. In the next year he debuted as a senior on the show arena, placing at top spots among international competition.

He began his breeding career in 2017.
