During the XLIV National Arabian Horse Show, the "Best in Show Pure Polish" award funded by the Polish Arabian Horse Breeders Association was awarded to the young, three-year-old mare EL MEDIDA (Morion - El Medara / Shanghai E.A.). This is the second horse bred at the Michałów Stud, which has won our award. El Medida on the father's side represents the lineage of the stallion Saklawi I d.b., born in 1886 by the Bedouins, came to Polish breeding through the stallion Palas (Nil - Panel / Aswan) purchased in Tiersk in 1974. On the maternal side, El Medida is a representative of the Milordka ~ 1810 mare line, bred at the stud of the Sanguszko princes in Sławuta.
